This job is responsible for completing all warehouse inventory transactions and movements timely and accurately. In addition comparing and identifying information on incoming shipments, outgoing shipments, and all other material movements that occur on a daily basis within the warehouse.Ensure all safety and health requirements are followed by all employees under charge as well as the security of the facility, goods, and personnel. Furthermore, Overseeing the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and issuing of goods to sales orders/job order, as well as promptly communicating outstanding issues that affect customer deliveries to other departments on a daily basis. Responisibilities: Material Receipt’s/confirmations – 40+ per day. Accurate and timely receipt for inbound materials, verifying the vendor packing slip against actual physical goods and Purchase order document. Outbound Shippers/confirmations – 75% UPS/FedEx small parcel, 20% LTL Freight, 5% Trailer load Freight. Verify material counts against Shipper and sales order documents. Inter-facility transfers- 10-15 per week. At request of purchasing or production departments between Lex facilities. Creation of Bill of Lading documents for LTL and trailer load shipments. Cycle Counts-30 Part numbers be month- Based on cycle count’s issued to the warehouse Return to Vendor-2-5 per month, counting materials using Purchase order return documents. Physical Inventory- Once quarterly, performing auditing function as requested by accounting, and production. Ensure all material requirements (receipts, outbound documentation) and confirmations related to warehouse movements are closed in the appropriate time frame and that any discrepancies are resolved with respective departments and Supervisor. Coordinate the delivery schedule for incoming shipments while ensuring carriers receive appropriate dock appointments in a timely manner. Communicate with Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and Carriers on a routine basis. May direct material handlers in preparing outgoing and/or receiving incoming shipments. Reviews and files Inbound and Outbound shipments, Waste Streams, and any/all system movements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance within the established timeframe.
